Finca La Selva is own buy two environmental enthusiastic sisters, Maria and Dédée. Together they decided to conserve and reforest part of their family farm and turn it into a touristique ecological reserve. At Finca La Selva, guests are encouraged to reconnect with nature by living the simple life. That’s right, no Wi-Fi, only real life experiences.

Finca La Selva is a conservation and regeneration project for the Tropical Rain forest of the ecuadrian cost known as BOSQUE DE GARUA

Our goal is to find new ways to work the forest an make possible outcomes for the local population, who totaly depends on the forest for there dayly life needs. That, without having a major impact on the ecosistem of the forest and subsenquencialy protect it in a realistic way.

Finca La Selva es un projecto de conservación y regeneracion de un bosque tropical humedo llamado BOSQUE DE GARUA. Este ecosistema unico en el mundo esta amenazado. Las actividades humana como: Cacería, agricultura y extracción de madera han devastada en más de un 75% de la cobertura vegetal de la costa y estibaciones occidentale.

Trabajamos en buscar y implementar nuev0s sistemas de desarollo sostenibles en el bosque con un minimo impacto ambiental y dando posibilidad de ingresos economicos para los moradores de la zona. Pensamos que asi podremos proteger ese hermoso y muy importante ecosistema, unica fuente de agua dulce para la poblacion de la costa.

THE FARM AND ECO LODGE
One of the biggest problems that we face today is that, somewhere along the way, we have forgotten that we are part of nature. Like the famous explorer Jaques Cousteau said: you can only protect what you love. And we think that you can only love wath you know and understend.
With no electricity, only solar power and alternative energies, we offer a confortable self-sustain Eco lodge in the middle of the jungle. Surounded buy nothing but nature at Finca La Selva, your guests are encouraged to reconnect with nature by living the simple life. You can enjoy your day relaxing by the pools and eating farm-to-table feasts or you can try other activities;
There's are hiking trails to suit all levels, along with guided birdwatching tours.
You can also take part in the farming activities, like gardening or taking care of the farm animals.
